Seasoned Software Sales and Marketing Executives Expected
to Play Key Role in Delivery of Next-Generation Electronics
Industry Supply Chain Solutions
Pasadena, CA August 20, 2001 eConnections,

of two new vice presidents to the executive team: Brian Newsome,
vice president of sales, and Gail Snider, vice president of
marketing. Together they complement the widely acclaimed electronics
expertise of eConnections' management team by bringing nearly
four decades of software sales and marketing expertise to
the company.
Newsome comes to eConnections with more than 20 years of
software sales and management experience. He joins the company
from leading enterprise application provider, J.D. Edwards,
where he most recently served as vice president and general
manager of the West Area and spearheaded a 74% increase in
year-on-year revenues. Previously at J.D. Edwards, Newsome
was business unit director for the South Area, focusing on
the delivery of J.D. Edwards Enterprise products to the high-tech
industry.
Snider is a senior software marketing professional with more
than 18 years experience in the business-to-business, technology
and applications sectors. Most recently she led the technology
positioning and brand public relations offering at Burson
Marstellar, a division of Young & Rubicam. Previously,
Snider spent 10 years at Oracle Corporation where she held
senior communications and marketing management positions.
Prior to Oracle, Snider was a senior consultant for Regis
McKenna Inc.
